Welcome to the Coronary Heart Disease in Women Webcast series. This series provided CME credits for physicians and certificates of participation for other healthcare professionals during its first year of existence. Although the series no longer offers credits, it is still available for review. This activity was originally jointly sponsored by the Postgraduate Institute for Medicine and ProMed Institute, and supported by an educational grant from CV Therapeutics®.

Purpose
Provide further understanding to physicians involved in the care of women with coronary heart disease (CHD) or acute CHD by exploring current evidence in diagnosis and treatment.

Target Audience
This activity has been designed to meet the educational needs of physicians involved in the care of women with CHD.

Program Overview
This educational series has been designed to advance awareness of new information about CHD specific to women. Awareness of new information has the potential to improve outcomes in women with CHD or acute CHD.

Educational Objectives
Upon completion of this series, participants should be better able to:

  • Improve outcomes for women with CHD through better diagnosis and treatment
  • Improve outcomes for women with acute CHD through better diagnosis and treatment
